The 23rd Asian table tennis championships have been held in WuXi on April 9

        Seamaster 2017 ITTF-Asian Table Tennis Championships was held in Wuxi Stadium on April 9th.  The tournament is the highest-level even in Asia. A total of 248 athletes from 29 countries and regions compete in the eight-day competition.

         ITTF-Asian Table Tennis Championships was founded in 1972 in Beijing, it is held every two years with the characteristics of large scale, high level and strong antagonism. Meanwhile, the competition is also a qualifying round of the World Table Tennis Championships. 

  The tournament was held from April 9 to 16, organized by the management center of the National Sports Administration, China Table Tennis Association, Jiangsu Sports Bureau, Wuxi Municipal People's Government, Jiangsu Sports Competition Management Center, and Wuxi Sports Bureau Host. The tournament includes Men's and Women's singles, doubles, mixed doubles, and Men's and Women's team events.


        As the host, Chinese Team sends out the best-strongest team to against the competition, including the Zhang Jike Ma Long, and Ding Ning. Meanwhile, the competition will hold a table tennis culture tour giving more interactive activities to the audience.
